To those who may not know, my mother is a Malaccan Nyonya - which makes me a descendant of the Peranakan culture! But heh, I'm not one who practices it (due to ignorance) and what better way to rediscover it by reporting it for my Intercultural Comm assignment!

Growing up, I've always enjoyed watching this sitcom called "Baba dan Nyonya" starring Kenny Chan as Bibik Kim Neo (yesyes, a dude dressing up as a aunty like Jack Neo). Recently they have a newer sitcom - The BIG Bibik and the Little Nyonyas.

The 9 Most Annoying People on Facebook!

My sister forwarded this email and I could not help it but agree with most of it! If you're a Facebook addict (like coughmecough), you will definitely have a funny grin on your face and instantly think of the shameless offenders on your friend list (though I admit I may have commit some of them)!

Gosh I remember recruiting all those people to play Mafia Wars with me! Shame on me boohoo.

Haven't met anyone like this yet, thank God!

Ok, this is common. But c'mon, the first people you get access to are people on your friend list, no?

Yeah, hate this one! Especially those with the friends labeling sh*t. And not forgetting, spammy stuff too! Then recently there's this virus epidermic spreading around as taggers of some antivirus sh*t. Mangkuk betul.

Oooh I know this one! Not exactly my rash, but my girlfriends'! Seem to add all the lengluis and comment on every single goddamn newly uploaded pics of the girls!
The best part? They actually think they are FRIENDS with everyone and shamelessly add the lengluis' friends, though being ignored multiple times! Shameless, I tell you.

Ok, this is not annoying if they don't attack you on your wall.

I think I've commited this on several occasions! And I have a lot of monologues in my head.

Not exactly annoying but I personally think the profile pic should represent the current self.

I ADMIT THIS ONE! I LOVE BEING DISGUSTING!

I think they forgot, shameless people who "like" their own status or camwhore pictures! Why do even Facebook allow such an option - to "like" your own stuff? It's like the objective is to allow people to make a fool of themselves. Or reveal shameless/vain people.

Declutter

So I've decided to dump my old posts into somewhere in the www. I figured that my old pics and entries do not reflect my current self right now, and I do not want to be judged for things I've said or did in the past. It's funny how I used to think those old pics of myself look so good then. Now all that goes through my head's like, "What was I thinking??!?" LOL. I guess some things are better off private.

For the people that I've hurted, I'm sorry. I wish that things will be better between us, no matter how impossible it may seem right now.

On another note, it's still Chinese New Year and been enjoying myself by stuffing food into my system. Upon arriving home from Penang, I've slowed down a lot. However, am looking forward for Chap Goh Mei on the 28th. Don't know why but have a feeling that it'll be a fun day!
